Every neighborhood has that one café you could happily lose an hour in. This painting is my love letter to it.
A bright yellow awning hangs over the front window, where Café is lettered across the glass in big, loopy black script, with soft reflections glowing behind it. A window box underneath spills over with pink, lavender, and periwinkle flowers. Out front, a topiary trimmed into stacked green balls stands in a white pot next to a round black bistro table and two folding chairs, ready for whoever gets there first. Off to the left, a wooden planter overflows with even more blooms.
The colors are warm and a little playful: terracotta siding, a pink-striped wall, slate-blue boards, and a slice of blue sky with puffy clouds peeking between the buildings. I left the brushwork and canvas texture visible so it feels made by hand, not like a stock photo.
It belongs over a coffee bar, on a kitchen wall, or next to the breakfast table. It’s also an easy gift for the coffee lover in your life, or the friend who’s always telling you about their favorite café.
Choosing a size
- 5×7: a small piece for a coffee cart, open shelf, or windowsill, or a gift tucked in with a card. The edges are trimmed slightly to fit this shape.
- 8×10: shows the full composition and fits a standard 8×10 frame, or an 11×14 frame with a mat.
- 16×20: big enough to anchor a kitchen or dining wall on its own. Fits a standard 16×20 frame.

Caring for your print
Frame it behind glass or acrylic to keep it safe from kitchen splatters and fingerprints, and hang it out of direct sunlight so the colors stay bright.
